Easy Sax

 

easy Sax

you are not so easy

making movement in soulful scale

rising

 

piercing silence

you tug at the senses

arousing longings

which touch a primal chord

 

moving within your rhythms

permeates consciousness

and stirs all

that lies beneath

 

I immerse in your sound

and become your music

feeling hot breath meet reed

quivering

as sound bursts within vibrating brass

and releasing

issues free 

into time’s

infinitely

 

easy Sax

we are not so easy

but what is born of us…..

is pure joy
