Sea and shore

Alone on shore,
waves are no crashing bore
Their height and force excite me,
if I enter may even smite me
Far out, I wonder what lies beneath
and just how many teeth
Brothers are we,
bucket and spade in hand
making big castles out of sand
Quick quick beat the sea beat the sea
Towers, one, two, three,
Final flurry a moat
that will float my boat
Waves wash clean the past
Collecting razors and whelks along shore,
tomorrow there may be no more
Each day a new world of discovery to loot
may even find Uncle Arthur’s boot
I peer into rock pool
Quick quick I see it, watch it go
a crab, a scuttling , where’d it go ?, where’d it go ?
What was that I see dart from corner of my eye ?
A fish, a prize and no small fry
Humpback whale breaches ocean,
majestic in somersault motion
Fair distance away watchers on boats abound
cameras clicking, waiting for mighty splash of sound
Whenever I am down
I summon whale breaking free
and smile and marvel at this world's mystery
Gambolling on sand, look deep into windswept face,
splash her, she gives chase ...
The sea whispers,
I am here now
I have been here before
I will be here for ever more

Lots to like.
..could be tighter, but that's my personal pref. Love this:
"And the sea whispers
I am here now
I have been here before
I will be here for ever more"
Words breathing with the tide :)
best regards

Discriptive Tony...
Hello Tony, so discriptive, full of nature, brilliant rhyme. Hope you don't mind me saying, to make it tighter take out the 'The's' 'And's' they are not needed. Steve says hi. X
