Winter wonderland

Walking slow
crunching snow
dripping trees
In park smattered many pied white bodies,
excited children building, cheeks aglow,
refreshed parents feeling togetherness grow
Energy flows,
can't resist splat at imaginary foe
Down path, branch snags me hat
eyeball innocent looking young girl
lovingly cradling whopping snowball
Spy frozen squirrel on bark
startled by shaggy shih-tzu that can shift
Robin on fence tops smile on face
Feel alive when Snowman offers twigged final embrace

You brought the scene to life
You brought the scene to life. We had so much snow a fortnight ago, but have missed it this time. Sunshine and sharp air with fresh snow is very refreshing. I liked 'refreshed parents feeling togetherness grow' Rhiannon

You've captured a christmas
You've captured a christmas card scene in your poem. Great seasonal touch.
Jenny.
