Let Go
In my woe I cried outv‘Lord I need you,
I cannot cope!’
‘Let Go…’
‘I can’t Lord, I will fall’
‘Then I will catch you’
I could see the rocks
Of life below grinning, waiting
To tear me apart
‘Let go…’
‘Lord, they look hungry’
‘Then let them starve, Let go’
I, mortal man could not see
What the Lord can see, so I
Gripped ever tighter
‘Till my tired fingers slipped
And I closed my eyes to die.
The rocks still crave their kill
I didn’t die, I never fell.
The warm breath of love embraced me
One word, just one word…
‘See……….’

Reminiscent of Peter walking
Reminiscent of Peter walking on the water. We tend to cling to many things that are not going to help, instead of trusting him, and receiving grace. Rhiannon
