Snowflakes

Snowflakes
fly in a frenzy of winter-white
they flit and fall
as a band of chick-a-dees
and moaning doves
the wind directing their afflictions.
They come at you
morning-strong
in a great wave of firefly might.
A dot of momentum
here – there and everywhere.
(c) 2018 Richard L. Provencher
Note: This poem acknowledges
the myriad of snow-fronts which
have assaulted Truro NS these first
days of January 2018.

Nice images, nice
Nice images, nice alliterative touches, nice compound words. 'A dot of momentum - ' is a pretty close. Enjoyed.
