The Coming of Spring

The first sliver of golden sun reaches past the clouds that blanket the sky, to kiss the ground with its warm touch. Bringing with it, the first hope of spring and of things to come. Promises of new life and days free of the oppression of winter hang in the air as the world holds its breath.
I can see it now; green shoots of grass reborn and stretching towards the sky, a warm wind that breathes life into the country side adorning it with the jewels of Mother Nature and the miracle of a spring birth given to mothers of the forest while fathers beam with pride, antlers aglow.
Sunlight greets the hibernating bears, sweeping away dreams and softly whispers “time to rise” while honey bees flock to the newly sprouted flowers in search of ingredients to brew their precious elixir.

I like the positivity in this
I like the positivity in this piece, and there's some great detail too. Welcome to ABCTales!
ps: did you mean to categorise this as poetry?

it's just the way it's laid
it's just the way it's laid out on the page (as if prose). I wondered if that was deliberate or if it needed an edit. It's fine either way! (and a good read!)
