A caterpillar crunched upon a rose.
"Oh stop! Please stop!", he heard the flower cry.
"Fear not", the caterpillar said, "For those
bright petals that I feed on will not die".

"For I, a pretty butterfly, shall be,
with silken wings, like petals of bright glow
and so your beauty will live on in me;
soar higher, far than flowers ever grow".
