Hiatus

Being snowed in was exciting until intertia
made us irritable and leaden
But now the weather cant remember why it went to the fridge
It rains half heartedly and the clouds need their roots done
The only bright spots are meeting other people and their dogs
on the morning walk
The tan one with the Labrador smile spreading optimism
the Chinese crested cross wimbling over to say hello
I wish the weather would get up properly and decide its spring
Its just wringing its hands with indecision.

I think it's a bit more
I think it's a bit more thawed where I am, and we are promised some sunshine today - can't wait! I hope your spring arrives soon!

Love 'the clouds needing
Love 'the clouds needing their roots done' - wonderful bit of observation!
It's thawing here, and great big icicles now keep flumping onto my patio. As you say, hope spring decides to arrive soon!
