Brexit.

Brexit, I don’t really understand it, at all! I don’t really listen to the news much anymore. But this is what I think I know about it, two years ago, can it really be two years ago already? A Leader said he promised he would do two things if he won the vote, and he won the vote, and within a few days he changed his mind and said, he can’t keep his promise!
Now most Politician never keep their word, but this was a biggy! This vote would affect England and the World! But changed his mind he did. It seemed the Country was divided and I heard racist attacks went up because of it!
Some wanted another vote, but there was a vote, but two things in my eyes happened, some didn’t like the result and the Leader changed his mind of what he promised he would do, no three things happened People were frightened to say they had voted to leave!
In my simple view, I think Mrs May has been made a scapegoat, for the Leader who said he would do these two main things won the vote and then everything went upside down, because he changed he mind!
I know there was another vote this week about Brexit, not sure of the result as I’m not really interested, but having said that, it does make me nervous just how much things would change if we left! I think People were tricked to vote out, my simple view as I see it. All those Companies that would leave us and the jobs that would be lost, thousands of them! The borders of England, I hear would be left wide open for people to come in, scary times.
Yet, who five years ago would have thought that a common word as Brexit now, would be in our vocabulary? What word in five years’ time will we all be saying that does not exist now? I mean, who saw Brexit coming? I didn’t.

I don't think anyone saw the current mess coming, however they voted! Your point is very interesting - yes, I wonder what words and ideas will be common currency among us in a few years time. Twenty years ago the only ones who tweeted were birds!
