Half past nine
The local park’s lovely, mate
Some folks with their dogs
Others with their kids
Some just sitting chatting
One bloke lights the end of a spliff
The sky was painted by Magritte
Resin perfume passes by
I’ve found a seat
The sun’s sunk behind facades of Francisco Silvela
Which gives me some relief
One year ago, I was running round this park
I?
That was someone else
It always is
So where are we now, you and me?
You shifting life beyond Renaissance bells
Me heading back to natal ground, and rain
Where is this stupid world of ours right now?
As long as I sit amongst these voices, it can’t amount to much
Two weeks from now’s another story

I like this more than the one
I like this more than the one of yours right next to it that got the cherry. I always feel I must try the uncherried ones because they may feel left out! I like the feeling of being in a pause but also knowing that things move on.
