Cocooning, not spooning

Cocooning,not spooning
Impenetrable dark shell, set to repel?
My soft white down so easily speared
[As my soft heart on my sleeve worn.
Pierced not by an arrow, but pricked by
a feather ]
Heart a flutter,
Anxious dream, chasing, missing
you.
Needing to 'penetrate your cocoon'
to make my beating heart calm.
My hand finds your warm
heart (or back),
I pat, you respond
I mutter "You 'wake?" (Bad dream )
You mumble "S'okay, just a bad dream;
go to sleep...
It's 5.30 you splutter!"
Reassured my heart stills
A tear leaks out,
just one teardrop..
Faith, Hope and, above all
Love .
