Rules for game

I explain to everyone on the plane

I’ve invented a game that can only be played

on long haul flights.

If anyone doesn’t want to join in that’s fine.

They can sit together at the back. I give out envelopes

to everyone whose hand is in the air.

If there are any disputes

the air stewardesses word is final.

Please don’t make us get the pilot involved.

By the time we land in Singapore the people

who are closest are those who didn’t join in

You can feel the bond between them.
