in a small shadowy room
twilight gone astray
alone again.
He called and cancelled
the date. Doesn’t
understand her loss
of another good person--
a friend and confidant.
Looking out a messy
window stars still
bright -- Ursa Major
pointing to North
and she takes comfort
in its constant gaze
upon her heart.
She must try again
see if Bill would like
to come chase up
a coffee -- and
reaches for the phone.

Courageous
Courageous, if at first you don't succeed .. .. Some people say that loneliness is the sickness of our time. Richard I must say your poetry has much depth these days. Excellent.
All the best! Tom Brown
