she is – momma who gets

up early-time

and kids crying already?

Pouting and eagerness are

characteristics that abound

around room floors

as footfalls lead

to wash up and clean clothes

momma ushering them

into hasty directions.

Then her day begins – washing

day and drying and and

her own changes from bath

to facial then something

sweet and swishy. Going to

get some groceries

before lunch and the ritual begins

again. Hurry hurry. Eat

wash your face and go go.
