Seeing through

membranes

of familiarity

we step cautiously

along the path

that enriches our

destination—

it’s all about

freedom to choose

to live within

our means

to desire love and

relationships that attract.

Thank Jesus

for the strength of

our convictions

as we hurry forward--

upraised hands

praising His Name.

I didn't know quite what to make of this Richard. It is about joy and faith? And life? To be honest I find it a bit strange. Is there meaning in the fact you posted it on New Years day?

Experimenting in one's writing is always a good thing you don't want to become monotonous!

You hit it right on, Tom-- a little experimental; always doing so. The poem is about caution on the continuous road of life as we overcome (somehow) bumps along the way. But then we realize Jesus is always with us as our road winds forward.
