For Our Son

Hello Tom, your concerns and love are much appreciated. Our dear son, Scott died suddenly of pulmonary complications January 6, 2020 in Abbotsford, British Columbia two days before we flew from Halifax for an eight day visit during what was hoped to be a period of time together as he recuperated from a serious bout of health collapse. It was all very sudden to us as we had spoken to Scott several days before his passing and he did not mention the urgency reequired for our visit. A heavy snowstorm delayed our exit from Nova Scotia yet we are so happy to have spoken to him albeit he had to speak through an oxygen mask while all fluids and food were through a tube. He died in his sleep knowing we were on the way. Scott was 52 and had worked for a furniture company for seven years as their best finishing carpenter. The company contributed one thousand dollas to help with our flight, as well as three area churches in Truro matched those funds and the WestJet Airline contributed the other one third for the total cost of travel. A wonderful memorial was organized by our son's company staff and helped us on our personal closure. We were treated so well. We went for the full period of time we planned originally to stay since the company wanted us to visit with those who cared about our youngest son and we did. Our son had periods of terrible times from his many foster homes and four adoption home break-downs from age two until he joined us as a new son at age nine. We are so proud that in his last ten years of life he overcame and found success and satisfaction in life -- he never gave up although Scott had every reason to. -Dick & Esther Provencher. In the meantine I would send out by "attachment" a copy of the book at no charge. My wife and I have tried to market and sell about ten novels via Kindle, but not much luck so decided to post all our work -- we arre getting older, me 77. Any sites you know of to post, at no charge, and a full novel at once? To do so on ABC would be to post in about ten pieces -- too much work for me these days. Cheers. -RLP
