In the woods ... WHAT? In the woods!!

I actively encourage the recurring dream

of a cartoon bear wearing my pyjamas.

He's part of the family now.

At first it was just a dream of a bear

and then a few nights later I thought

hey - it's that guy again ...

and are those my pyjamas?

It takes a while before you realise

this is part of your life now. 

like when our fridge that occassionally leaks

became a leaky fridge.

'I dream about a bear who wears my pyjamas'

I tell my barber, but I know he's thinking about his wedding.

He's changed since he's been in love.

I'm gping to find somewhere new.

I tried to draw the cartoon bear but I'm not good at drawing.

My friend who isn't an artist but once sold a painting

for £400 said I should start with the nose.

When I was little I tried to count sheep

when I was struggling to get to sleep

but those sheep knew they were being watched.

They kept pulling faces at me, trying to distract me.

Pretty soon they were out of control.
