"The Ocean's Call"

It calls to me as no other place ever has
Oh I’ve been to mountainous landscapes and adorable valleys
Charming small towns and open roads
And they have enriched me
But it is at the oceans edge I thrive
The cry of the seagull
The rush of the salted wind
The grains of sand under my bare feet
Arrest my senses
The deep waters
Mystery
Pulse with Primitive life
Down fathoms
Immeasurable
Lie sunken Treasures
Buried Histories
Species of aquatic life unseen
The surface waters
Reflecting sunlight
And shimmering with moonlight
Will always awaken
My primal soul
