Just had a news bulletin in! It seems that we have gone

out well beyond the great stratosphere of this our planet earth

with a website by the name of abc tales.

 

It came to our attention yesterday that somewhere far off in the

universe of space, rising from another galaxy, that we received

communication from a distant planet. This is excitement beyond our

wildest dreams.

 

The message reads as follows:- Greetings Cosmic Cyber Neighbours.

We have observed the encouragement given by this website. You

have a wealth of knowledge on many areas of writing, we too enjoy

creating with words, which is why the harmonious nature of our two

worlds can come together.

 

It's not easy relating over continuum of our planets, but we've learned

your language, complex though it maybe. It's almost inconceivable to

imagine that we are so far from meeting, but I feel a bond that we've

met before and shared special times, here's hoping that one day we can

meet again at water's edge.

 

 

In Your Presence

 

Curious distance

moves closer,

that inner sense

of spirit hears

aching hearts

on tumbling waves,

 

this place once known,

we'll walk again into

depths of fantasy,

where languid sleep

brings us closer,

 

let's dream your

hand takes mine

in trance as tides

drift in...our

twilight footprints

suggest a memory

of adolescence that

we shall meet again,

 

been empty far too long,

steady rhythm following

sound of crashing tides

extracting sweet breath,

seeing you over another

dimension, figures bought

together by love.

wouldn't it be nice if we managed to extend off into the stratosphere? Thanks for posting this Jenny - a lovely use of the Inspiration Point (which I thought was an excellent one!)

Excellent Jenny, another angle. We're used to aliens and doomsday armagedon thunderdome and preditors and a variety of monsters etc etc. All of it virusses death and plague and nuclear disaster the end of the world and that stuff and aliens.

Rather then positive, optimistic, hopeful! Why not? & Nolan

Hi Nolan,

I really don't believe that what we feel to be aliens are all bad, if they were going to destroy this earth, surely they'd have done it by now. I'm under the impression that they're here to save us. There's so much proof out there. I don't think we're supposed to discover everything all at once, it's a slow process of trickling tiny amounts of information.

I'm over the moon you thought this piece to be positive, it's exactly what I intended. Thank you so much for reading and letting me know your feelings.

Oh, Jenny, I wish this were true!  Perhaps it is??  I always hope that if we do meet beings from other planets, it will be the writers, artists, musicians etc who will contact them first, and show them that human beings can be wonderful.

Hi airyfairy, I always believe that anything is possible, as long as we have patience and understanding. It really would be great like you say that first contact is with the gentler kind, those that can measure our worlds with a love of caring and sharing.
