A Runaway Writer
By Paul McCann
I’m becoming invisible , watch me disappear ,
I can drift off into a world of my own where there’s nothing to fear
You’ll see me fade away somewhere between here and there
I’m a runaway writer and I haven’t got a moment to spare .
It’s like I’m in a trance and there’s nothing I can hear
the visions that I see in my mind are now becoming very clear
intensely focusing , channelling my energy
I’m a run away writer escaping with my creativity .
It is so realistic in a spiritual way
Walking in the mystical pathways with my dreams everyday
Deep in thoughts I wander through imaginary streams ,
I’m a runaway writer and no one can see me
chasing all my dreams .
I’m living in a dream , always living in a dream
I’m a runaway writer , seldom ever heard and always unseen .

This poem just about sums me
This poem just about sums me up most of the time. Always in my own imagination and it feels so real.
Great poem.

Oh those walks through our
Oh those walks through our imagination, capturing what we see to fill the blank page, to live through the words, to bring substance to dreams....I too runaway into my writer's world.
Lovely poem, every writer can relate.
