I Strode

across a nightly trail

set apart from

trees which stood

so tall – I in my

hiking attire

stared above at

the separation of forest

and a plantation  

of stars in beautiful  

glitter – a north star figure

leading the way-

flurries of windy

currents all bundle in

chill as I wrap

my arms around

in ecstasy knowing this

scene will remain for

many seasons

yet to be.
