Merry Christmas, one and all.
Happy New Year, both short and tall.
I'm sure if we try hard we can have a Ball,
Then back to normal, nutting the viral brick wall.

I have to wonder, how many more peaks?
Could it be months, or just a hundred weeks?
The vaccine will certainly help those with sticky beaks.
But is the virus just cleverer than all our geeks?

So Merry Christmas, one and all.
Get on with life, and the wall may fall.
One day the cash will surely dry up.
Then we'll see the light, and leave the hall....
