If my feed could see me now,

care free, free of care,

careless, without any -pathies,

sym or em

though psycho and socio

may just peep through

the keyboard warrior’s shield

of anonymity.

 

Out there, see, I’m out there

off beam, on point – ha -

en-pointe, balancing the bile

with belief

becoming more bigotry

with each upper-

case cri-de-con cascading,

crazing the screen.

Arseholes...like opinions, we've all got one. I have learned a new word -can I make it, a type- a dilligaffer - ? Enjoyed :)

back-formation is fun! I used to use morphology in TEFL classes when I lived in Spain. I'd ask students to make up an imaginary one syllable word, and then get them to form other words out of it. Or we'd use a Spanish slang-word "friqui" (pronounced "freaky"), for example - it means geek or nerd - then we'd make words up formed from the root. Like "friqui-ness", friqui-dom or friqui-ous-ly. Then I'd tell them about the false-friend "freak" and see what they came up with. It was the only time anyone enjoyed using a dictionary.

I always hear it in an Aussie accent, mind.
