I drink tea and I drink it all day
Except for breakfast, that’s always a coffee.
“Stick the kettle on” and chuck in a bag
Never change, always the same cup.
Water begins to boil, music to my ears
(but don’t let it pop, a rolling boil is key)
Pour it in; it steeps for three minutes (or more, sometimes less- I’m pretty care free)
Squeeze the bag and in goes the milk.
I love how it dances... the waltz of happiness.
Delicious.
The warmest hug you’ll have all day.

I've never thought about
I've never thought about writing an ode to tea. I drink buckets of it. Though I'm a heathen - I use oat milk and I always have the oat milk first. A very set amount. So much so that I won't let anyone else make me tea because it just wouldn't be how I like it. Enjoyed this. Plenty to be said about tea. :)

Tea...let's face it, the
Tea...let's face it, the country would implode without it. Nicely done.

Yes, completely identify with
Yes, completely identify with this. I'm three coffees in the course of the morning, then unspecified quantities of tea from the afternoon onwards. If I'm cold - have a cup of tea. If I'm hot - have a cup of tea. If I'm happy, sad, cross - there is no occasion a cup of tea will not fit.
Good to know I'm not alone
