Where beasts come alive
in the mettle
of their existence
shrieking and
howling after an
evening
of spooky delight.
They come
as creatures hungry
to devour lesser ones
the rush of feathery flight
& claws in the night-
from the cacophony
of raucous noise
comes a sweet and
soothing melody of loons
and lonesome cries.

An evening of spooky delight
An evening of spooky delight followed by soothing melody of loons. Lovely visual in this poem.
