October
as in a basket of
Maple leaves turning
red as they sparkle
from the sun.
In their slow climb
up a Maple tree
located in a town
called Truro NS – not
as pretty as standing
among a crowd of its
kin alongside a
hilltop – yet just as
beautiful as it graces
an older neighbourhood.

I hope you are writing your brilliant poems again soon? When I lose it it, sometimes it helps to read my favourite poets. It is always good to have a recommendation, and if he helped shape your writing which I love, he is definitely going to get a look :0)
