Above Such Things

I lay on the grass
To look at the sky
And the sky looks back
While passing me by
And for every cloud
That drifts from sight
Another comes
To take its place
Another comes
To carry away
The cares that weigh me down.
Past and future concerns.
Clouds are above such things.

It's always great to read a poem with optimism. This one made me feel good, so thank you for that.

Expressive and descriptive way of seeing troubles come and go like clouds. Your poem says so much.

Clouds always do the right
Clouds always do the right thing ... well nearly always.
And they have no cares.
I enjoyed readying your poem very much.
