Christmas trees are so beautiful. It's the best thing about December.

I like to take photographs through windows of other people's front rooms

and send them to the happiest people I know, the people who will like

phoographs of perfectly shaped tasteful silhouettes.

My friend Leon used to spend christmasses in Spain

but I could never picture beaches in December.

I didn't realise they were still there but i guess it makes sense

for all the people who see teh beach when they hear the word

Christmas. It's so hard to allow yourself imagination.

Decembers were entirely based in my cul-de-sac

a remote control car, a new bike, rollserkates

going around and around and around.
