Pongal
Magharzhi’s Passed and Thai is here;
The Larder’s full, the charcoal fire
Sweetens the air with flame scorched milk.
May your Pongga rise and brim over;
And scarcity and want shun you forever.
Pongalo, Pongal, Pongalo Pongal

I love this. In a few lines

I love this. In a few lines you have given a feeling of plenty - especially in the 2nd and 3rd lines which work so well together - and also good wishes. Enjoy your festivities.
