I look down

umbrella sea

snaking between

shiny metal towers

separate

still me

a strong wind

searches for red

among the grey

pushing risk

frisking

steering

toward decision

do I leap

air-dance Nike-like

raindrop steps

merge the blue

sky-reach

take a chance

with you?

I am Luke

sky walker

sweet talker

calculated

risk taker

love maker

potential heart beaker

The painting is one which my daughter did for her 'Raincheck' Exhibition in 2010. I have the right to use this small version of the image to accompany my poems written specifically to her art.

Thanks for letting me know. We do get quite a few people who post things without having received permisssion and we can't afford to be sued. Your daughter is very talented!

Thanks Jennifer. Jessica asked me to write to her art for three of her exhibitions (all sold out) with each piece displayed then sold with a copy of the relevant poem. She is very talented and her artwork is inspiring... Thanks for you comments.
