Billowed dresses, pure snow-white
branches bearing clustered bunches bright,
specks of gold wave in each petal cup
by slender filaments spread out, held up
to shimmer gently, golden sprays
shining in the sunlight of the springtime days

It is beautiful - my blossom is almost all over now - except for the apple tree which hasn't started yet

This is so delicately written Rhiannon. Such a pleasure to read, especially as most of our pink blossom has fallen.

Thank you, Jenny. Yes, I took the photo, I took a few, but that one was the one most successful. I was so pleased to be able to get out for a short walk, to deliver something, and found quite a few lovely sights of opening buds and flower profusions on the way! Rhiannon
