Forbidden Love In Bloom

Up above in a crinkled sky

sunset colours fly

Down on the ground,

wild flowers had been found

 in the place where two lovers lie .

Underneath a bridge across a silver lake,

two lovers were asleep

with secrets deep as a castles keep 

in times long gone by   .   

In sorrow she wept for the love she kept

that was forbidden by her Fathers eye

who denied their love

without a reason why .

His anger fell like fire and drowned love’s desire

and in their final breath before their death

they whispered our love will never die .

Forbidden love was buried deep but arose above .

Flowers bloomed for the bride and groom

who were wed

in a kingdom beyond the sky.
