All the Diamonds Raining
By Ewan

We bet, Pascal and I,
all the diamonds raining
on Jupiter and Saturn
that something is out there.
He glories in uncertainty,
I in its opposite.
He thinks it is God,
I think you know it is not.
Others argue over the shape
and size of the universe,
which is as futile as guessing
the geometry of buildings
on a planet where gases are sentient.
Whatever ‘it’ may be,
I hope it never finds us,
for our first encounter
will turn ‘it’ to ‘them’
and then to 'other'
within the time it takes
to see a difference.

I cant relate. Have know Idea what its like. Totally lost. Never made a mistake here at ABC.
All my software runs perfectly all the time. Stable mobile connections, precision hyperlinks and login's, flawless key strokes. Hardware, middleware, software, cloud, utopia.
Faff's, fumbles, boo-boos, cock-ups, F-up's w/ foul language metaphors, meltdowns, pull your hair out moments, blood pressure raising incidents, hand banging outbursts and then some...... I know not.
I am at one with my digital existence, in a zone of balanced online peace & tranquility.

I loved this poem. I know nothing about Pascal - and am not sure why d i o and d are in bold in diamond - but it took me up to Space and back in a few lines and the last few echoed a lot of what I write about myself so I have to agree! Good pick of the day!
