Where is Alfred today?

I bet he’s out visiting Henry again,

He should be helping in our garden.

Instead he’s gallivanting through the centuries again,

Meeting Henry’s wives,

And trying to rewrite history.

Well I’ve got news for him.

It’s too late,

Because its already been written!

This is a short poem by Mrs Muggins, edited (tweeked!) by Mr A.N.Muggins! It was typed on 23/10/21, but only released to David Kirtley Facebook at the time (and somewhat forgotten in the recent events of Invasion and Destruction! and Holidays!). The poem is one in which Mrs Muggins felt motivated to enter some writing, her side of the story, for the first time!
