Sunday don't go away 

cant you please just stay 

let be Sunday

for just another day 

now Monday don't you come 

i want more Sunday fun 

just being lazy will suit me 

stay Sunday, please

 

it's so hot I can't move 

cold water in hand

and a gentle breeze

blowing  on my knees

 

Sunday don't you go away 

i know there are a million things I could be doing today 

but i can't be bothered to move 

except only for the bathroom and food 

 

Sunday don't go away 

cant you please just stay 

let be Sunday

for just another day

To be honest sunday is like every other day now it's a pity because now there is nothing to look forward to it is all very monotonous. I miss payday the most.

hi Tom

i think your right in a way.  years ago no shop was open everyone went to church and Sunday was a day of rest. for most some, it was not . i am going back to the time when nothing is open on a Sunday just a day bliss for the time. not for everyone but i do believe that we all have a moment a day a  second when we have that Sunday feeling.
