Everlasting

As the sky

descends

into sluggish clouds

causing

a commotion

at the edge of forest

as blue jays

are much more than

cautious

within resting nests-

a farm house

protects a little boy

observes how

real Nature works

while a wary wind

provides cover

for a family of loons

at their pond

their lilting sounds

soft & rising.
