The Sun is cold today.
Winter mist causes temporary blindness.
Water laden air,
so hard to break through.
The light is white
. . . and cold
She doesn’t have the strength
to melt a snowflake today.

Very descriptive, but I did
Very descriptive, but I did have a vision of a shivering sun from the first line! and thought of all the us-centred phrases like 'there's no sun today' or 'the sun's gone now' etc!
It's fascinating to wait sometimes and see the sun gradually clear and 'break through' the mist. Rhiannon

Captures the feeling of winter
For me this captured well the bleakness of winter, but also its beauty.
