Write a poem,
write a song,
write a story,
and right a wrong.
Draw a leaf,
draw a bird,
draw a creature,
however absurd.
Paint in oils,
paint with a knife,
paint on canvas,
a dream of a life.
Sing in heaven,
sing in hell,
whatever you’re singing,
sing it well.
Shout in anger,
shout in tongues,
shout of loving,
‘til you burst your lungs.

She was brilliant, wasn't she
She was brilliant, wasn't she? Have you heard her music? I can't remember exactly how she persuaded the church to listen to her ideas, but it was something like "of course, as a woman I am incapable of thinking, so all my ideas must come from God, and therefore you should do as I say or you will be going against His wishes" :0)
