'With what judgment you judge, you will be judged'

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
You who judge, point out men’s sin,
have you hidden faults within?
Pleased to sneer, contempt you cast,
glad to bring them down at last.
Are you pure enough to throw
stones at blame you think you know?
‘I’m not guilty of a lie’ –
Are you always truthful, try
to be open, don't mislead,
serve your neighbours, free of greed?
‘Would that God the gift would give us:
see ourselves as others see us!’.
Tune: 77 77 77
‘If anyone you is without sin, let him he the first to throw a stone on her.’ John 8:7
‘With what judgment you judge, you will be judged’ Matthew 7;2;

Yes.
...but man, is by scripture, flawed, therefore all human judgement is flawed; by your argument, to see ourselves through anothers eyes is to perceive the world through another equally broken lens.
Tricky eh?
