An Ordinary Life

Compared to our neighbour,
whose life is ostentatious,
our existence is plain.
In fact, one might say
that it is humdrum.
We are uncomplicated
but we aren't dumb.
Whatever we do
is without exaggeration.
Ours is an ordinary life.
We cannot claim
that everything is easy,
a walkover or child's play,
so we continue to plod on
one day at a time.

Hear! Hear Luigi, I couldn't
Hear! Hear Luigi, I couldn't agree with you more. There's a fine line between having every thing you want, or just being haapy with what you've got...i choose the latter any day of the week.
Great idea for the I.P.

Ordinary life
Ordinary life, "ostentatious" another one of those thrillers. What does it mean Luigi? Sounds very clever. The rest mostly I do understand.
So we continue to plod on one day at a time". One way of seeing it "that it is humdrum. Bliss, the instution of holy monotony.
Getting warmer here days longer! The sun is shining in South Africa! Tom
