There stood the mighty John O Groats.

Spent his time jumping moats.

Lived with a band of stoats and goats.

Soaked in a bath with yellow boats.

Was always cold and had lots of coats.

Stood for Parliament and gained two votes.

Loved a cat and sent her notes.

But not much chance of getting his oats.

Read a lot and sprayed out quotes.

Had a stuffed bear, on which he dotes.

The first few lines had me thinking nursery rhyme.
