Oh for a drop of drizzle here now. We had a huge thunderstorm with torrential rain a couple of nights ago but by mid morning the next day the ground was back to its usual concrete state.

Poor your father. It's good that it was her favourite weather because they seem to get an awful lot of drizzle in those Welsh places.
We're going to Ireland in a couple of weeks. I expect they'll have some for us over there.

I love this one :0) I don't know how you do it, find the essence of a place, or a kind of weather, in just a few words. But somehow you do, over and over again, and make each poem so beautiful and true and fresh
