Pain.

What is pain? Who can define it? Who can say they have had the worst pain more than another person? Toothache is universal. Period pain is dreadful. Birth pain is on another level, especially if there is nothing to numb the pain. To break a bone that must be painful, thankfully I have never experienced that. Migraines, they can be blinding, to the point of making a person vomit. Back pain, I have experienced that. Shingles I had for a year, I declared that the worst pain I have ever had, mainly because I did not know at the time, when it would end.  Regret can be painful; I have experienced that.

There is a different kind of pain. Iain Owens age 45, Elaine Lannery age 39, Lesley Williams age 41, Paul Brannan age 41 Barry Watson age 47 Scott Forbes age 50 and John Clark age 46, they were all found guilty at the High Court in Glasgow of rape and sexual assault.  It was not just rape and sexual assault but, they were involved in depraved child abuse, including gang rape, and getting other children to rape other children. We can not imagine the pain those children went through. How do they begin to heal? Will they ever heal?

Those adults have left an awful ‘legacy’ for those children. Now that the physical abuse has stopped, the mental abuse and nightmares will carry on for decades, if they do go on to do drugs, drink, to numb the pain, to try and block it out. Will some go on to prostitution? No longer valuing their bodies? Or worse will they commit suicide? I hope not. Will they go on to self-harm, to counteract the pain? Will some be sectioned for mental health issues? The adults who should have protected them, let them down and took everything away from them, their dignity!

I am SO angry! Just going to jail is too good for them, while the children suffer. They the kids face years of counselling and mis trust, failed relationships. It is so unfair. For years to come, they will be messed up! No one will understand. In sleeping and awake they will be in PAIN! Their pain, will never go away.

There is another type of pain. Today in Wolverhampton TWO boys age 12 has been charged with murder! They killed a teen age just 19!!!!

All the parents of the 3 boys involved will be in pain. The teenager Shawn Seeahai, was stabbed to death. The two 12-year-old boys, should go to jail for Life! There is nothing they can do, to bring him back to life, no sorry, no community service, no money, no good deeds, no jail time, can bring him back to his parents, family, or friends. So, they should spend the rest of their natural lives behind bars, they are no good!  If they can do that at the tender age of just 12, just imagine what horrors they can do at age just 20. They will just get 5 lousy years and come out as unknown, get married have kids and carry on with their life of crime. Shawn’s family will still have the PAIN, of what they have done, it will not have diminished my then, if they do not die of a broken heart first.
