An outrageously slow and peaceful homage to the stone age, sotto voce

A time before,
when slings and arrows
and rockets and missiles
made fortunes for a few.
Even,
tribal wars were
unheard of.
Silence,
save for the wildlife and
stone on stone.
And spirit needed not
to be awakened.
Such was freedom.
So quiet, you could hear the ice age receeding.

An Interesting reflection,
An Interesting reflection, but I'm not so sure that peace and love reigned in the stone age.

I'm no fan of royalty but ...
I'm no fan of royalty but the Queens of the Stone Age were a cracking band, back in the day.
