A horrid mask of thunder
rides in
astride a pony-tail
of scudding sky
its haunting movements
scare their way
across
hard-earned crops
like squeezing onion-juice
torturous sky observing
bathed in mischief & glee.

Squeezing onion-juice; not

Squeezing onion-juice; not heard it put that way before. Your poem is charged with turbulent energy and I loved it.

I loved the ominous imagery
I loved the ominous imagery here; and the onion juice metaphor works so well.
