Remembering those days when I liked to doodle.

Walking along with the pink penis poodle.

Tent on the lawn, all kit and caboodle.

Rollicking old film stars, with the occasional canoodle.

Earning cash at the café, but hardly a boodle.

Never wanting to eat a hot pot noodle.

No idea about an apple strudel.

Then growing up, off I did toodle

(Pip).

Good rhyme! Natural, easy, not forced, not doggerel. Well done! Just the p... feels out of place. Cultural differences? Neuralgia?

Hi. Thanks very much for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the piece. As regards the 'Pip', toodle doesn't seem to be an accepted word by itself. It only seems to exist conventionally when linked to pip (i.e. meaning 'goodbye'). So I just played with the words accordingly! Thanks again.
