There are some mysteries in this world and universe, that amazes me. When I was young and in my teens, I was fascinated with the stars at night, fascinated with the clouds in the day and never got tired of seeing the blue skies and the beauty of the green grass.
The beauty of the rainbow, never ceases to amaze me too, even today, if I saw one, I would do my uttermost to take a picture and even then, the photograph does not do it justice!
I never tire, of looking at the green blue sea. Flowers too, if I see one, I must take a picture of it, it does not matter if it is in someone’s garden, if I can get away with it, I will try and take a picture. Trees is another one, there are SO many beautiful varieties.
This week, it was my friends Lousia’s birthday. I spent a few hours with her in her beautiful home, later in the afternoon, we got onto the subject of horoscope! As a born-again Christian, it was a no, no for me and all my friends growing up, who went to Church with me.
I remember in my twenties, when I was a work, that I would see other young women, they would buy the newspaper, so that they could read their horoscope each day, so that they could find out what was going to happen to them that day or in the future.
Later a person, noticed that different newspapers would have different predictions for the same star sign. I was never tempted, even when some would ask me, “What is your star sign?” I did not even know it; it did not interest me at all.
As time went by, when I was asked my birthday day, and I told them, they would then tell me my star sign. So, I did know it later. Still there was no interest.
Lousia, looked up her star sign, it was in depth and we laughed because every single word, was true! It was her to a tee! It was amazing!
From that revelation, we then went on to my star sign. It was like they were describing me; it was so weird. We then indulged ourselves for the next ten minutes or so, picking friends we know well and looked up their star signs and apart from one, they were all spot on!
How does that work? I have heard of some people who will not marry the wrong star sign person, as they say, “The marriage won’t work, we will clash.” Having read the in-depth information, I was inclined to agree with them.
I thought of those poor people, who had not control over their personalities! Where their personalities were not nice. It did seem though, that there were good and bad traits in each person.
It was fascination stuff. Lousia went on to tell me, “All the signs of the zodiac, comes under four sections, Fire, Earth, Air and Water.” WOW! I do not know what that all means, but it is amazing.
It think it is fabulous that we have twelve months in a year. I remember when I was young, I heard about a country that did not believe in God, who made the Earth and Us in six days and God said, “It is good.” This country decided not to have seven days a week, they decided to have eight days a week instead. It did not work, He has set it to seven days, twenty-four hours in a day, sixty minutes in an hour, twelve months in a year, no more no less. The four seasons too is amazing! My favourite is always Summer.
I do not believe in the big bang theory; it IS my favourite comedy. Our different eye colour, our hair, textures.
The many kinds of birds of the air, the vast land animals, and the many fishes in the sea. When I was thinking about all this this morning, I thought one species has the best of all the ‘worlds’ Ducks they can fly, walk on land and swim! How cool it must be to fly! And thinking of flying, when all the birds, are flying together and they make a perfect arrow shape. Also, when hundreds of birds make cool shapes as they fly low and high in the sky.
“O lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The Earth is full of your creatures. Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of very kind, both large and small.” From Psalms Chapter 104 verse 25 The Bible.
You can always learn something new every day, I learnt something new with my time with Louisa. Having brought up do live without horoscopes, I wont be tempted any time soon.
The heavens are God’s handiwork Psalms chapter 8 verse 3. Chapter 19 verse 1 “He has all the stars numbered and named.” Psalms Chapter 147 verse 4.

Horoscopes can be very
Horoscopes can be very addictive and is putting trust in something else, not the Lord who only knows us through and through and the future and past, and has created such beauty. The wording of horoscopes can be very clever, but distracting from true trust and prayer, and reading God's words of the Bible. Rhiannon
