They sprawl its surface

float beyond it;

fingers interlocked

boundaries crossed, crossed out

out across the firmament

gathered on your lashes

 

but no matter.

 

You blink, break the chain

fill yourself up again.

Blinking is underrated. And waking up after a good sleep and wiping away the 'sleep' - it's so wonderful how the body maintains itself without us needing to consciously do anything

tell me if i'm wrong. i think this is about welling tears and a "recovery"afterwards "break the chain". You have a way with words, its breathtaking....
