Why Me?

What have I done to deserve this?
First you bundled me in the car
and took me to that dreaded place
where every year the nice lady
sticks needles in me even though
I try my very best to snap her hand
off, but you won't let me. Then a week
later you took me there again and
the nice lady stuck another needle
in me. The next thing I knew I was
behind bars, it seemed ages until
you arrived. I felt all dizzy, but
I was pleased to see you until
the nice lady came and helped
you to stick this stupid thing
around my head before you took
me home in the car. Now I can't lick
that bald patch on my leg, I'm sure it
tastes good, but that puffy collar gets
in the way. I hate wearing it except at
night when I go to sleep 'cos i've
got a built in pillow. I don't mind that, but
I can't wait for the day it comes off.

Ah! Bless, I think you summed
Ah! Bless, I think you summed up very well what your poor dog must be feeling.
I understand about the jabs too...had enough of those lately, and I have to have a shingles and pneumonia jab next week, these things have to be done I suppose.
Such a lovely photo too, I hope your dog benefits from his ordeal and is soon on the mend.
Jenny.

Poor one. Though that collar
Poor one. Though that collar is so much better than buckets with the bottom cut out, which used to be what our dogs got when I was a child. I hope she is better soon!
