She said she'd meet him outside the library so he waits.
He had to ask or burst. She agreed, end of term. Others laughed.
"Boys, unreliable," she'd said.
Not him. He waits.
He looks for her features in women her age.
She'll arrive, impressed, and explain, "you'll never
guess.."
